How to use

Beetroot: stir 1 tsp into a cup of curd for raita..
Carrot: knead into roti, paratha or pasta dough.
Pumpkin: stir into soups and sabzi.
Spinach: knead into green roti and pasta dough.

Storage and shelf life

Questions

What’s in the four signature pouches?

Only fruit and vegetables. Beetroot, Garlic and Onion Powder are each 100% of that one vegetable, dried and ground. ABC Juice Powder is apple, beetroot and carrot in equal parts. No salt, sugar, colour, anti-caking agent or preservative is added to any of them.

What about the wider range?

Besides the four signature pouches we make dehydrated vegetable powders, spray-dried fruit powders and speciality powders, all listed in the shop and the catalogue. How each one is made differs, so ask us for the specification sheet of any powder and we’ll send it on WhatsApp.

How much powder equals the fresh vegetable?

As a rough guide, 1 tsp of onion powder stands in for a small onion, and ¼ tsp of garlic powder for one clove. Beetroot is mostly used for colour and gentle sweetness, so start with 1 tsp and taste.

Is ABC Juice Powder sweetened?

No. The sweetness is the apple’s and carrot’s own. There is no added sugar. Stir 1½ tsp into a glass of water or milk.

How long does a pouch last once opened?

Use it within 2–3 months of opening for the best colour and aroma. Seal the zip tight, keep it somewhere cool and dry, and always use a dry spoon.
